Then again, the most meaningful things in life are never easy. It's not easy squeezing your life into a suitcase and hopping on a plane halfway across the world. In this hilarious comic book, Grace weaves fact and fiction - to create an authentic window into the life of an American living in Tokyo. Joined by her husband, Ryosuke, and their imaginary pet rabbit, Marvin, watch as this young couple tries to carve out a little slice of "home" deep in the concrete jungle of Tokyo, without going crazy.
Another winner Erik Dutton I am a regular reader of the Texan In Tokyo comic and blog, but I always find it worthwhile to get the books as well As always, the comics are fun and entertaining, and the little insights into an American's life in Japan are delivered with grace (hah!) and wit. I feel as if I have come to know this couple, ju. I really enjoy slice of life Christina A. Patton I have bought every one of Grace's books. I really enjoy slice of life, and Japan, so I get a warm fuzzy feeing when I sit down to read her books. You can tell she puts her heart and soul onto the pages.. River said All smiles. Great comics by a great person! Every comic brings a smile to my face and you get to learn all sorts of random (but fun and interesting) things about Japan!
