"Good fun Read, still not for Young Adult Readers" according to Guy O Cranfill. It is a good book building on the 2287 AD story line. While there is still some sexual content it's much toned down (much of the explicit content in 2287 was rather gratuitous and didn't really add to the story line). I also noticed a lack of input from Steven's perspective but that story is still unwritten ;D. I look forward to the next episode later this year.. Great Read! 2288 continues a fantastic story. Great characters. Twists. Surprise after surprise. Captures all the elements of great science fiction. I was captured by the time travel and then everything else pulled me, willingly, along. I highly recommend this series and look forward to the next installment. Keep on going and thanks!. Meh Amazon Customer The story didn't match up from the first book. And introducing time travel feels like a cheap trick. A better escape for Steven from Enlils trap would have been the mind meld that he and Ash have. No matter how well Enlil can copy Stevens form he couldn't copy his way of thinking. That is something that Ash would have picked up on immediately.The opening 40 pages or so were redundante I love yous between Steven and Ashlynn. It could have been better served with a bit more sex then into the story.I won't recommend this series until i know how the third novel plays o
