As I read the book I quickly realized that girls would enjoy the love story between Lucas and cheerleader Megan. The story is fast paced and full of athleticism, action, and middle. Sign us up for the next book in this series! My 11 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The dialogue was realistic and entertaining. Clearly Mr. Hoover has spent a lot of time around middle school students. My son reads a lot of books in this genre, and he was able to relate to Lucas (the main character) more than to the characters in other books. He has read the book three times and is eagerly awaiting a sequel. As a parent, I found it. You need this for your Middle School Child!
