"WOWwhat a great writer." according to Kathy Conley. I read Mustang Summer almost non-stop. I could not put it down. The characters are so interesting and the details are powerful regarding each person lives. I felt as though I knew the characters with the great descriptions given by the author. This is fiction but it feels like real people in the story. This is a great book for anyone to read. Write another one!!!!. Great book How many times have we lost a loved one and spent the rest of our lives chasing a myth? The author finds Derek Benson in this situation as he tries to flee the quicksand of his past. He gets a helping hand from great grandfather John and his ’67 Mustang for a Summer Adventure, which includes beautiful Pamela Jackson, great granddaughter of Amos Jackson, a WWII . Mustangs, but not horses! Easy, laid-back style pulls the reader in to a mesmerizing tale of cars, diamonds, love and life. Lots of lessons to ponder from this tale. Lots to like from the fast-paced battle scenes. Hard to put down until the last page is in sight.
