S. Murphy said Sam Spade, Chicago Style. It's a detective novel first, and a gay detective novel second. It matters that Nick Nowak is gay, but it matters as a part of his complete personality. I very much enjoyed the Chicago milieu, Though I've never lived there, I love visiting, and the north side, near south side and loop settings bring it to life. Nick is a little bit hard boiled. Kindle Customer said Quality. Five stars for great writing and editing. Five more stars for proving story is more important than sex ever time.. Ebook Addict Reviews I really enjoyed Boystown 2. Marshall Thronton has a way telling a story that keeps you on your toes. I enjoyed Boystown 1 but I thought Boystown 2 was even better. I liked Nick a lot more than I did in the first book. He came across real and less of a player and I found it easier to relate to Nick this time around. All three stories in Boystow
