DESCRIPTION:
Strong female protagonist! I absolutely love Emmy! If I swung that way, she would be my number one book girlfriend. Em is a take charge, rational woman. She has her emotional moments, however, during these moments she doesn't do things that make you want to strangle her. She has moments of insecurity and doubt, but she handles those times beautifully. Some female characters have a tendency to brood and allow their insecurities to overrun their brains to the point of making stupid decisions and/or taking stupid actions. Emmy however? All books are stand alone complete novels with no cliffhangers. The author's extensive research of real MC 1% er's in her prior career as a journalist gives all her novels a richness and accuracy of club life that most of the wannabe self published MC writers lack. My advice would be to read Reapers Property and Reapers Legacy before this book. The build up to Emily and Hunter's relationship starts there. This is no instant lov. Oh man Hunter. Monique Wow. Hunter or Liam is just wow what can I say. Total alpha and protective of what's his. Gotta love that. I love this book because it's not insta love they actually had a connection first. Em is a strong feisty one. At first wasn't sure if I would like her but love her. I actually read Reaper's Fire first before reading this one so now reading this one and some of the characters I have to say boo to Painter. He annoyed me throughout. Definitely going to have to read the other books in the series.
Joanna Wylde is the author of Reaper's Legacy. . She has also written several erotic romances for Ellora's Cave and lives in Idaho
