Tedious! Better had it been a short story or the first part of "Children of Dune". I first read the chronicles decades ago and forgotten that I did not like this book even though I loved Dune so much I went on to read the 'House' trilogy by his son which was fantastic and just read it (the. Dune Massiah and the Dune Saga aboldie2-big reader It didn't unfold as I would have liked, but never the less I enjoyed this saga. I have read DUNE andTHE CHILDREN OF DUNE, and I will soon be going on to the rest of the saga. At least the Frank Herbert works.
