Opens Your Eyes to Haiti Judith Treharne Exceeded my expectation! Read each short story as if you are hearing it from a friend. The book opens up as read and you will wish there was one more story at the end.. Connecting Me to My Roots I enjoy the details of Haiti these novels bring to life. It truly captures the culrture, spirit and mystery of Haiti. A GREAT read!. Stories were not high standard I don't want to be unkind, but for the most part, the stories seemed like they might have been written as an assignment for a fiction writing class. They were not sophisticated or insightful, other than the fact they were set in an exotic location, Haiti. Oh, well, I wish the writers the best, and am sure they had fun seeing their words in print.
