"Just the right speed for those of us who don't qualify for Mensa and are willing to spend more than 10 minutes on each puzzle" according to Karen. I am not a member of Mensa, so I rarely, if ever, finish one of these puzzles in 10 minutes. But they are just the right speed for me, on the whole. They are challenging enough to keep me working but rarely so arcane that I throw the puzzle away before finishing. So they are exactly what I was looking for. There is a tie-in with a digital calendar but even though I dutifully signed up and did what I thought I was supposed to do, I never use the calendar. That's the only reason I didn't give this calendar/puzzle 5 stars.. Fun, challenging, and something to look forward to I gifted this to myself as a Christmas present and have been enjoying the daily challenge of the crossword puzzles. I have never been good at crosswords, but after practicing every day, I'm getting better. I manage to solve 4-5 puzzles a week at 100%, but I take as long as I need, sometimes putting the puzzle down for several hours and coming back to it. I hope to try timing myself sometime this summer to see how long it takes me to solve a puzzle. I was looking for some quick entertainment for my morning coffee, and this looked like it fit the bill. However, I'm pretty good at crosswords, but I can't complete these in 10 minutes. They are good puzzles, but I guess I'm not Mensa-enough for them!
