I purchased this for my children since I had the same book when I was little.The familiar rhymes such as Humpty Dumpty, Pat-A-Cake, To Market, Jack, Gorgy Porgy, Three Blind Mice and many others are included. There are other rhymes I never heard of that are delightful and catchy. It is fun reading these to the kids and it has helped foster an appreciation for this type of written work.I will say though that many of the rhymes don't make sense to the kids (ages 5 and under) and there are s. 00 rhymes, which is impressive. Such nostalgia and warm memories. Mother Goose has captured the imagination of children for decades and fostered a love of reading in me. When I had my daughter, who is now in her twenties, I purchased a Mother Goose for her. We spent time reading together and looking at the vintage illustrations.
