"Amusing Observations on Portland" according to JC. A fun, and quick read. A lot of what we experienced in Portland mirrored this person's astute observations. It is not a serious guidebook by any means but, there are some helpful suggestions here and there. This little pamphlet book is honestly more for amusement.. Funny and honest I thought this book was really funny! I read it twice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that there are a lot of typos. (For example, the chapter called 'Beards' actually says 'Bears.') But all of the stories and observations are great and capture the awesomeness. Super cute. Bought this with a couple other books Super cute. Bought this with a couple other books about Portland since I'm moving there soon. It's like a cheat-sheet for all the jokes/gripes the locals all talk about. I feel like I live there already now. :)
