A classic picture of harsh life at sea G. C. Carter Not sure what prompted me to read this classic; it reminds one of harsh life at sea in the 1800's.. "Bartleby the Scrivener" according to Faye Ku. I got this collection because it contains one of my favorite stories, "Bartleby, the Scrivener".
