DESCRIPTION:
You'll find five highly illustrated, well-organized (and well laid-out!) chapters.. Here Lori Siebert and Lisa Ballard, both successful graphic designers, take you step-by-step through the process of making a good layout
Specifics include what is visually appealing and stylish, with examples supplied from newsletters, posters, brochures, etc. Siebert identifies the questions the designer must answer before executing a good layout; thus, readers learn what are conscious decisions and not accidents of fate. Exercises provide practice, and the conclusions of each chapter offer excellent summaries for review. T.
