Entertaining if Simplistic Kathleen L. This book is well written but simplistic, functioning at the comic book level These Vikings are nothing like the fearsome invaders of the British Isles in the Dark and Early Middle Ages. The men are disciplined, brave, smart, fast learners and intrepid. None of them are out of control and all of them adapt readily to being trapped hundreds of years in the future.. VIKINGS MAKE SNEAK ATTACK!! Interesting concept of a time travel saga involving Vikings and WWII. Kinda sorta opposite of the movie Final Countdown.Decently written fun story. Definitely a stretch of the imagination, but a good one.I liked it.. Vikings! Who knew? Kimberly Young As a person who has never been interested in history this story has a way of making you want to learn more about the time and places in which it took place. Richard James Hazel has a way of making you understand what people actually went through during this time period.
