The Isle of Cipit is the first in a series of what the author calls “legend-seeker,” stories and boy does it deliver. Taking the term “on the edge my seat,” to a whole new, dangerous level this book needs some kind of health warning on it, it’s a gripping, adventurous and emotional roller-coaster ride of which all Hollywood directors should be forming a queue to script into a blockbuster. From the get-go I could feel this delicious chill going down my spine when I started on the first chapter. Even though I know from the short summary of the book that it could be a bloody and scary story, I still got scared from the beginning! To make sure I could sleep properly at night, I actually had to read this book during day timeExcellent story line and good characterization. I worked for universities before so the descriptions of the researchers impressed me. They feel real and could be any one of my friends/colleagues.
