This is an underrated and wonderfully written book.I am an AP literature teacher with a special love for Greek and Shakespearean tragedies, so perhaps I'm a bit biased, but this is hands-down the best book I've read comparing and contrasting the two.The style is intelligent and scholarly, without being arduous, but it helps if this isn't your first book of literary criticism.
